Northill CofE VA Lower School currently has two very exciting vacancies available to the right candidate. These opportunities could be merged into one position for the right applicant and would provide wonderful experience to anyone looking to begin a career in education.
Morning Club Leader:
As morning club leader you would gain a number of valuable experiences for working with children, including the opportunity to explore a range of creative activities, support to develop activity planning skills as well as the opportunity to develop a club in order to expand its outreach.
This position requires the successful applicant to work from 8am to 9am each day. With support from the Head of School and other team members you will be responsible for the supervision of a small number children, therefore a fully enhanced DBS check is required (supplied by the school to the successful applicant).
(This position could also be available to a current parent of the setting, with free-child care for any current pupil of the school during the time of the sessions)
As a midday supervisor you will share responsibility of caring for our pupils between the hours of 12pm and 1pm each weekday. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to expand experience of working in schools, supporting children during the less structured aspect of the day by leading play activities and supporting with key life skills while instilling Fundamental British Values.
