Northill CofE VA Lower School is a unique village school situated close to the towns of Sandy, Bedford and Biggleswade. Providing education to the parish of Northill and Ickwell for over 100 years, our small, family environment is a joy to be in and supports our pupils to make great progress during their time with us.


We are now looking for the right candidate to join our small school family, allowing us to ensure the best for our pupils.


This role is primarily dedicated to the support of an individual pupil, although will give some flexibility in regards to working across the school. With such an important role we strongly recommend viewing the school to allow you to see the wonderful environment we have created here.

Hours of Work: Full Time 32.5 per week (Term Time only) 39 weeks per year + 5 INSET Days

Salary Scale: NJC Spinal Column Points 1-16 (Experience and skill dependant)

(£9.00- £12.11p/h: £17,364- £23,369) Pro-rata

At Northill CofE VA Lower School we are also always looking for volunteers to further support the school, either in the classroom or through operational and administrative support. This could also be to support a student to develop experience of working in schools for their own future development.
